Tuimala Traducciones
The story of Tuimala Traducciones began in 2022 when I decided to combine my two passions: movies and languages. Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve loved movies. I love how they transport us to different worlds and tell us stories in a way that only movies can. There’s just something magical every time you enter a movie theatre.
When I was studying at the Master’s Program of Translation at the University of Helsinki, I realized that I could use my knowledge of languages and merge it with my love of cinema by working as an audiovisual translator. I wanted to offer my clients high quality subtitles for their cinematic masterpieces. That gave birth to Tuimala Traducciones.
About me
My name is Timo Tuimala, I am from Finland, and I’ve been working as a professional audiovisual translator since 2022. My working languages are English, Spanish, Catalan, and Finnish. I have translated everything from horror movies to Bollywood drama and documentaries to reality-tv, so don’t hesitate to ask help for your project. You can contact me about anything that needs subtitles.
When I’m not subtitling and translating at my home office in Helsinki, I’m at band rehearsals. I play the guitar and synthesizer in the band of a young, upcoming pop artist. Apart from music my hobbies include exercising and, of course, watching movies. I especially love old zombie movies.
